Matt Murdock, known to most as the blind attorney sworn to uphold justice, was robbed of his sight as a child in a chemical accident that also heightened his remaining senses of smell, taste, touch, and hearing to a level that when combined give him a kind of human sonar. Young Matt later trains with a blind martial arts master known as Stick to learn to use his augmented senses to fight injustice and avenge the death of his father, prize fighter "Battling Jack" Murdock who was gunned down for not throwing a fight. Now he protects the borough of Hells Kitchen as Daredevil the man without fear!
